Yann Lemieux is a professional painter based in Quebec City. His work has resonated with collectors in Canada, the United States, and Europe.
Coming from a background that didn't lead him to painting, he initially worked in the fields of animation, events, and management. These experiences have influenced the way he shares his art, particularly through live performances, where he moves his studio to event venues to paint in front of audiences. Since 2016, he has participated in numerous conferences, festivals, and private events, creating works live in front of thousands of people.
His production focuses on the creation of original works, in addition to custom commissions. Among his notable clients, the Canam Group commissioned him to create a series of eight personalized paintings.
After being represented in art galleries, notably in Quebec and Ontario, he founded L'Atelier Galerie Yann Lemieux in 2021, a hybrid space located in Quebec City. This space combines a creative workshop and an exhibition gallery, and regularly hosts immersive events promoting exchange between artists and the public.
Alongside his artistic practice, Yann Lemieux is actively involved in cultural mediation with diverse clienteles, including people living with disabilities, marginalized youth, and seniors. These community projects, rooted in an inclusive approach, promote the creative act as a driving force for personal and collective engagement.
